FRANK NORDIEK
The artwork by Frank Nordiek (www.landart.de) is entitled "Sometimes I have to listen carefully". It is a tubular-like, winding object formed from a multitude of sticks. At the edge of the footpath, the tube opens into a funnel. On the opposite side of the trail, a second, identical funnel opens up and tapers downhill to form a tube. The idea is to encourage visitors to listen in and to nature.
Die künstlerische Arbeit von Frank Nordiek (www.landart.de) trägt den Titel „Manchmal muss ich genau hinhören“. Dabei handelt es sich um ein schlauchartiges, gewundenes Objekt, das aus einer Vielzahl an Stöcken geformt wird. Am Rande des Wanderwegs öffnet sich der Schlauch zu einem Trichter. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Wanderwegs öffnet sich ein zweiter, baugleicher Trichter, der sich talwärts zu einem Schlauch verjüngt. So sollen Besuchende angeregt werden, in und auf die Natur zu horchen.
